Cigarette Cat?
 

Has anyone heard of or have seen these things or is someone confused about what they have?

Looks like confusion to me. Cigarette has never built a cat. Maybe it's one of those guys that thinks that all go fast boats are cigarette boats....

It is not a Cigarette, but it was built by Don Aronow after he sold Cigarette for the U.S. to combat drug smuggling called Blue Thunder. Not sure if the actual manufacturer name was Aronow 39 or a USA 39.

Basically it is a 39' Cigarette based mold sectioned to make a cat.

5. readers digest version...Don designed (well if cutting a hull in half is designing) for the US Govt. under the blue thunder name and sold company to Ben. (with contract for several more) US Govt figured out they were buying drug interdiction boats from a drug dealer. Ben cried to Don, don bought company back after deducting a Ben's an idiot surcharge. Ben got pissed and had Don killed. In chapter 13 Ben tries to break out of prison Hollywood style by hiring a helicopter pilot to come get him.. Unfortunatly he failed to hire a competent chopper pilot, er, alledged chopper pilot who crashed and burned.

So like the cable commercial,

When you want to buy a boat company you buy one from Don
When you buy a boat company from Don, he always gets the long end of the stick and you get the short end
When you get the short end of the stick you get unhappy
when the govt tells you the short end just got a lot shorter you get mad
When you sell the company back to don, he gets the long end and you get the short end
When you continually get long ended in the short end without a reach around you get really really mad
When you get really really mad you do stupid things like hire idiots to kill people
when you hire idiots to kill people, they get caught
When they get caught they rat you out
When they rat you out you go to prison
When you go to prison you try to escape by hiring a helicopter that crashes
When your helicopter crashes your stuck in prison
When your stuck in prison, Bubba looks at you and says you have a pretty mouth
Don't get molested by Bubba, next time you buy a boat company make sure you get the long end of the stick.
