Small blocks could sound nasty. Here's my buddy's 28 Checkmate with single small block, he built. He can have the throttle pinned @6000 for long period without blowing it up at poker runs. Boat runs close to 80 on GPS. The 34 Hallett tied up at the dock he owns also, has an even nastier exhaust note.

No need to trim the drives up on that boat. Heres how they run with the drives out about 2 numbers from fully tucked in. No small blocks in this boat
