I would rather be in a fast single bravo boat than a twin bravo of the same speed. Dustin Whipple took monster motors out of a 28 eliminator because of the danger. If you break a bravo in a twin you are going to be in for a ride

Was it a V hull?

When my single engine 32 Activator Stealth's six drive locked up at 90, the boat just slowed; I was impressed. The guys in the boat asked why I slowed down, I really did not not know what was wrong, still in gear with engine running - the transmission output shaft sheared when the drive locked up. An upper bearing failed in the drive, then the pinion and ring gear broke a couple of teeth and locked the prop up.

154mph...with xr drives.

I would think in a V things would go better but I could be wrong.
