Can't recall a hull breaching from engine internals, seen a few I/b gearboxes come out the bottom.
Best breaching that I won't forget: we had a 16l standby generator mounted on a platform outside a grocery store. She chucked a rod, went thru the exterior wall, clear into the store. Left a nice mark on the linoleum floor.
"Cleanup on aisle 12".

Didn't the Old "Drambuie on Ice" boat put a hole in the bottom when one of his motors blew up? I know it partially sank but can't remember if it was from hitting something or engine parts going through the bottom... Jim

If I'm not mistaken it happened at the NYC Poker Run this year. It was a totally re-done Aronow..... sweet boat..... Heard they blew a motor and something went through hull.... They got towed back in and the bilge pump kept up........

El Boss was a Cobra (By Performer) He also switched to a Shadow Cat in "M" Class, His Shadow Cat with Small Blocks waxed the Asses of some of the Open Class boats.
