Im keeping my fingers crossed that the water is as shallow as I think it has been on the Chain. We got ALOT of rain yesterday. Im heading to the races tomorrow and was going to contact you. I read your other post that you are w/o truck. If you need mine just call me at 847-727-0697. Keep us posted.

With all the rain that we had, I'd have to guess that it filled with water and the battery went dead. Hell, Waukesha had 6" in a couple of hours! From what I could see on the radar rainfall totals, parts of Illinoise had just as much, if not more rain.

If there is a grey lining, I guess that resolves trying to get somebody to tow it to loto.

So, watcha gonna get for a new one?

Are you kidding? I've got a 1987 32' Pachanga that I've had sitting on a brokers lot all summer. Looks like I'm gonna have to sea-trial it at LOTO!

My marina guys didn't have a quick answer for me this morning when they called. Said they were going to pickle the engines (although with 600+ hours on them I'd just let them go)
What sucks is the $5000.00 in stereo equipment I had on board - AND my insurance company tells me that while a cancellation notice hasn't been issued and my policy is still in effect, I'm 2 weeks late on payment Can't wait to see what happens with regards to THAT issue.
I'm leaving now to go take a look and pay my policy premium.

Now that really sucks

This is even more reason why I am goig to look mine over this week

Heard horror stories about farmers
As for payment that makess things worse.
I pay mine by the month and have it automatically withdrawn
never have to worry about late payments

G-Force,

The question is, are you in the grace period for your premium. Insurance companies are required to give you a time period (usually 30 days) after your premium is due before they can cancel you. If you're in the grace period a payment should do the job. Besides, a good agent will cover for you!

Good Luck!

If rain, vents too low and bad battery or bilge pump or a shift cable boot.
