I know I will be the pooper of the party suggesting a 66 foot all carbon fiber world cruising capable sailing catamaran,

But they are bad ass and 30 knots is nothing to sneeze at.

And their new factory in Wanchese NC at the old Buddy Davis plant has perfected building an almost all one piece all carbon fiber hull with no joints.

A few vids . I know it it a blow boat but the technology they are using to build it is phenomenal.

And than I would trade rides with friends that owned Go-Fast powerboats all over the world where I would be cruising .

Well....If maintenance and fuel was a non issue a cat in the 40 to 50 foot range with twin 1500 hp motors would be my choice. I got the chance to run a 36 skater in 3 footers at 110 mph with the occasional 5 footer from Miami to Gilberts. I had to slow down to 90 mph to launch over the 5 footers and was the best drive of my life. So.... I think a 40 to 50 foot cat would eat up some big water and if the cat only ran 120 mph I would be blissful. Dreaming!!!!!
