I knew this was going to happen, I was just asking if this was the proper way to greet a fallen hero. I am not trying to demean what the video was showing. My wife and I watched the video and the first thing we both noticed was where are the servicemen to greet the casket. There are not many people as big of a supporter of our military than me and my family (about the only section of our government I care greatly about), just something looked off and was wondering what it was.

I do not want to offend anyone on this forum, I know most of you guys are like me HARD CORE AMERICANS.

You didn`t see the service men in the video?, I can`t watch it again cause it gets me every time but I remember seeing at least 3. Think of all the other folks as an added bonus.

I wasn't trying to question your question.I understand your thoughts, but don't know the answer. It was more of an observation that complete strangers showing the highest respect that could be given for those deserving of such, regardless of their job/classification. I'm sure those guys will be touched forever for being able to do this show of respect as they could. Possibly by volunteering, and not so much as a duty??? No disrespect meant there. just for lack of the correct words.

Both videos brought about the same level of respect from myself.

Very respectful for a commercial airline, the music in the back round gets me every time. Thanks for sharing.

I'm certain that will happen later at an official ceremony. It could have already happened also at some point.
This could be a secondary transport of the soldier's body in route his/her final resting place.

Reminds me of this story: Passengers give up first class seats for returning Marines.

Does anyone know if the second smaller box was personal belongings or a service dog? My eyes I think were sprayed with mace.
