I used to take girls to the submarine races all the time, usually the pink one won the race.

I was expecting to see the the inoperable relic submarines that we bought from Great Britain being towed by tugboats in a race ! LOL But I did enjoy your Bahamas pictures, Sean. Have a great day.

Anybody see that Redneck Rocket Science show on NatGeo where the guys built their own submarine out of a farm water container?

They tried to put in CO filters, and when they filter element got wet it damn near gassed them to death. They pulled the rip cord with the safety crew inflating the air bags and shot to the surface. A few moments after they popped the hatch, it filled with water and shot to the bottom of the quarry they were in; while they were still inside. I'm sure it was over-dramatized for TV, and I only caught a few minutes of it, but it was hilarious.

Do they race in any conditions? I bet years ago they would race in 15 footers, with no harness', helmets, radios, or safety helicopters.
