end of summer blow out we'll be on sept. 20 to sept.22 come one come all great fun meet lots of people meet new friends and some old!!!talon 2.5 will be posting some cabin info for those interested stay tuned!!and speacial thanks to the skipper for the hepl!!!


This meet has started by a few guys on Scream&Fly.com, they are extending the invitation to all who wants to come, if anyone wants directions, please feel free to contact me. Its open to all boats, the lake is located in central Florida, same lake that the race is in.:cool:

I live in Saint Cloud and still can't say that word when I'm asked the name of the lake:rolleyes: Anyway just show up, some people are coming in Friday, most will show up on Saturday, I know alot of the rooms are booked at the fish camp. There are guys coming from as far as the Carolinas to attend, I think their are about 40-45 boats committed so far on coming, should be a good time.

What are the specifics- times- meeting where- who is bringing what?

Well, Saturday and Sunday are the big days, I don't think there is anything special planned, everyone will end up at Chisholm Park, after that there will be alot of drag racing around the lake, I'm sure things will come together more as we get closer, We had one in the spring , and it was alot of fun. As far as boats go there will be Skaters Liberators, allisons, Stv's Mirage's etc....come on over and bring friends!:cool:

I really like that venue. I took over 100 photos of the races there in the spring.
Sadly, I will be shutter bugging at the Thunderfest Regatta in San Diego with the Unlimited Hydros and many other classes, including offshore.
You guys have fun. The wet pits and the people I met there were great.

Anyone can go? What ramp is best?

The locals just call it East Lake. Chisholm Park would be best, lots of parking. But if you have a RV East Lake Fish Camp ramp is the place to be. They also rent cabins. :cool:

yep still on ...some people comming on Fri ...all dif times ..thre are still tent/rv sites avail. and of course hotels in St Cloud should be able to provide lodging . Sat should be a good day...i think about 70 + boats all kinds and a nice get-together Sat night . and some more fun on the lake Sunday

I was really looking forward to Saturday, I have to work (probably all weekend) and the wife is overloaded with class projects that are due next week.:mad:
Maybe we'll have a get-together in the spring for the races.

We'll be there for the day Saturday.

I just got back from the fish camp and a tour of Lk X the boats are starting to show up ...the weather should be good in the morning and most of tomm at least...Tomm night everyone is going to be partying at the fish camp...tell you what that fish camp is really nice....i never knew...

Just got off the phone with my son, Nathan, he and his girl friend Danie showed up with Ryan and said they had a blast. He was talking about some fishing boat, a cat with one engine, that was staying up with all the Skaters, what's with this?

Glad everyone had a great time.

That fishing cat was made by a company called Fast Cat www.fastcat.com He said he was running in the low 80's I'm trying to remember what power he had .....

Had a great time Fri nite and Saturday with you all. Mark and Roxy it was awesome to meet you guys what a beautiful Cig you have, let me know if you need help finding a cat. If you guys wanna come over and hangout in Sarasota for a weekend and go boating let me know your welcome to stay anytime. We've got plenty of room if you don't wanna bring your boat. DangerKitty and Kitten it was fun hangin out with you all too. Glad you finally got your name done and you like it. SkaterMike as well great to finally meet you and your better half too!
