Looking at the way the bilge blower is plumbed, I would want to do a good inspection on the rest of the mechanicals.

A little more Cigarette 24 info....there were basically 2 Generations of the "24", early and late versions. There is also the mid-80s Firefox, but that is an entirely different design.
The early "24" was made in the early 70s (approx 72-75?) and is easily spotted by the inlaid Teak Bow (and Engine Covers) also it has a more traditional straight up windshield...all of those I have seen seemed to be originally powered by Twin 6s. These also seem to be the most plentiful, if you call 6-8 "plentiful". Here are some examples. http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-NI...09%2520006.jpg http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-QD...09%2520015.jpg http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-mJ...1063.sized.jpg The late" 24" was made in the late 70s, early 80s (approx 78-81?) and is a true "Flat Deck" all fiberglass with no Deck Teak Inlays (some have teak on the dash). These are easily spotted by the true flat deck and unique faceted Windshield. The 4-5? I know of are all Big Block Singles.
