Default Harwood fiberglass products

I recently purchased 2 aero hood scoops from Harwood fiberglass. Let me tell you what crap this stuff is!!!! $300 each and they are junk!! I had to pay my body guy just to make them look presentable . They are the bolt on type and the mounting ring around the inside where the through bolts go was not even bonded. The base was all WFO. And the glass was paper thin in some areas. If I didn't need them ASAP I would have sent them back and demanded my money back. When I called to tell them how disappointed I was with there product. All I got was Sorry to hear that. WTF. If I ran my co. like that I would be out of business . Even if they reimbursed me for my money spent on bodywork. O well live and learn.

But MAN DO THEY LOOK GOOD ON THE BOAT!!!!!!

i have a harwood hood on my car and it's been rock solid for over 10 years of fl heat with black paint, drag strip passes, and daily highway stone chipping driving. wondering if you got a bad example?

The one that I ordered 1 year back was just as bad. I just expected more for $300 each.

Harwood used to produce some great fiberglass race car parts, but they were very heavy (thus strong). With all the good car builder using carbon fiber, I'm guessing they are trying to make them lighter, not better.
