My friend just purchased and brought that boat home last week, for considerably less than the asking price. However, the pics look much better than the boat actually is. t has some issues to say the least, he has his work cut out for him

That ad is a damn near scam lol. The white gel is coming off all over, and has huge gouges in it. The entire cockpit interior is shot, shot!

That's too bad. I have no idea why people let their prized possessions fall into such disrepair. It almost makes makes me sick. Glad to see it is in good hands now.

thanks for the info guys , still looking , wanting 04 or newer 42 with 525 power , but found 00 model 38 lightning in like new condition with 125 hrs with trailer 500 efi motors . what would you knowlegable fountain owners actually value that boat at ? i know the internet prices vary from seller to seller just wanting a realist number

Is the 38 you are referring to the boat with the patriot graphics in Tennessee? If so, I knew the original owner and the boat was well cared for. Second owner did the same... 4Bus is right on with the price..
