I sure hope its mispunctauated. For sale for that price I think and also mentioning you can rent it for that week. If they expect to get that for a week of rent they are nuts!!

Pretty sure the ad is for sale.

I think the point of the Shootout comment is the only time the OWNER ever used it was during the event.

OTW- it has remained empty year round.

how funny that you slam Democrats (the majority in case you forgot) then go on to preach about diversity of tastes. So typical

Fine, go there, tell your friends, talk about it, brag about it. Don't like it. Fine. Don't go, don't talk about it, talk about it. WHO cares?!
Some people like having sex with the opposite sex. Some like having it with the same sex. Some people like fat chicks. Some don't. Don't bust their balls for having an opinion. It is their opinion! It may not be factually accurate, but again, why do you care?
Now you may insert your comments about all the small businesses & all the economic "facts" behind your argument.
Bottom line, some people like the lake for the extracurricular activities the area has to offer. Some people are in love with the notion that there are lots of performance boats there. Some people don't like the reputation the lake has for being rough or dirty.
Have fun there, have fun somewhere else. I don't give a sh!t. I've had fun there & I have had fun elsewhere. I prefer the somewhere else, but that doesn't mean I'd turn down an invitation to LOTO, nor bad mouth it to the folks there who are in love with the lake. It's not the style of boating entertainment I'm
looking for. I like the "retirement lake" a little further to the south.

being a canadian I always assumed that south florida was the mecca for powerboats. Guess it was only in Miami Vice lol

Night life, people hi-perf boats everywhere, women, lake parties, events etc. One thing Miami slacks on a lot is hi-perf boats unless there's a PR but on a regular weekend, you are luck if you see one, unless it's me lol or a 24 Pantera look alike boat with a volvo drive.People hate it here. Look on the board and you will notice almost noone is from Miami or South Fl. Sucks because so many places, and islands to go to. I do plan some day to have a place in LOTO. Best lake ive ever been to.

In the 80's and early 90's yes when it was smuggler's paradise but after that, the restrictions to run in the icw and the the lost of thunder boat alley/ Apache bar hi-perf wipe out.

Stimleck the majority on this board are not democrats. The USA as a whole is fairly split but mostly because democratic politicians give them free money to sit home and not contribute in any way to our economy. It's a sad state of affairs. Ok done with the politics

In the 80's you would have been right. Like Premier Perf said unless there is a poker run in town you could boat all day in S. Florida and never hear the rumble of a big block!

Noise restrictions, manatee zones/no wake zones and simply changing boating style has killed offshore boats in S. Florida. A triple engine CC with 900+ HP hanging off the back is turn key, quiet and offers a better layout for idling around with shade from the T-Top as icing on the cake!

Peanut Island on a holiday weekend you might see one go fast, but 50+ triple engine CC's with big stereos and loaded with people.

That is a Midwest thing, just watch their news when there is a disaster and they will dig to find some sort of connection, talk about events to nausea like the 1904 World's Fair and don't even think about saying something negative about Cardinal fans.... it's like you kick their grandma, oh then there was the reactions when St.Louis faired as a more dangerous city than Detroit or the time the Mayor of Austin used St. Louis as an example of a city that was once prosperous in one of his adds for his city's success and development. LOTO just falls in the same catagory of god for bid someone doesn't like it or has something negative to say.

I don't know how well you take care of your boat but that is simply a false statement. :lolhit:
