Why does everyone get so butthurt when LOTO is talked poorly about? Y'all sound like a bunch of democrats. Question is why does anyone CARE why you like it or don't like it? Like it? Fine, go there, tell your friends, talk about it, brag about it. Don't like it. Fine. Don't go, don't talk about it, talk about it. WHO cares?!
Some people like having sex with the opposite sex. Some like having it with the same sex. Some people like fat chicks. Some don't. Don't bust their balls for having an opinion. It is their opinion! It may not be factually accurate, but again, why do you care?
Now you may insert your comments about all the small businesses & all the economic "facts" behind your argument.
Bottom line, some people like the lake for the extracurricular activities the area has to offer. Some people are in love with the notion that there are lots of performance boats there. Some people don't like the reputation the lake has for being rough or dirty.
Have fun there, have fun somewhere else. I don't give a sh!t. I've had fun there & I have had fun elsewhere. I prefer the somewhere else, but that doesn't mean I'd turn down an invitation to LOTO, nor bad mouth it to the folks there who are in love with the lake. It's not the style of boating entertainment I'm
looking for. I like the "retirement lake" a little further to the south.

I was there 2 years in a row, 06 and 07, was it fun? yeah it was fun, just like any other lake Ive been on on a hot august day,

Party cove ? yeah its ok if you want to people watch, does it get old after a couple of hours ?yep, unless you like watching older people get drunk and act silly ,

nice deep water? yep,,clean water ? I would not say clean,I would call it root beer water,

did it change my life by going there 2 years in a row? No..

I guess my thought is,if you are out with friends having a good time I dont know that the body of water is what makes it or breaks it..

I like anywhere the boat can stretch its legs and the beer is cold and the women are hot. I haven't been to loto so leaving it out the best boating I know of is Chesapeake bay. Short season but tons to do. Bars and restaurants galore, downtown baltimore in the inner harbor, red eyes dock bar bikini contest every Sunday at 5 (used to be still hope so). Not to mention Stoney creek, rock creek, magothy river, downtown Annapolis, hartmiller island. Plus all the creeks and rivers with bars and restaurants up there. There is literally endless possibilities for experiencing food, drinks, football and baseball games all by boat. Great atmosphere. Hoping when I do visit loto it comes close.

Oh yeah to my knowledge no noise ordinance in the bay.

I wanna go again to catch a glimpse of the infamous 444 Skator or maybe, just maybe a 55 MTI...

As a poor V-bottom guy, there's nothing like running 85-90 with a couple other boats thinking your getting it on only to have a herd of cats go ripping by you and put you back in place. Top notch hardware in all aspects at Loto!!!

Apparently the "smiley faces" don't play into to your understanding of a couple of boaters giving each other a razzing.... If you are too fragile to take that..... Go back to Table Rock, It is slower there, even the language, so you can understand better. (added a few smileys to help you understand I am just razzing you Jason!)
