Need help! What make and model is this hull?

I'm looking into possibly getting this as a project boat. I've spoken to the owner and he said the only info he knows about the boat is that its a 23 or 24 footer. Was converted from inboard to outboard.

You have to host the pic on photo sharing website like photobucket, etc. for it to display

AB From Windsor 05-01-2014 12:36 PM

It looks like an older Warlock or Sunsation.

90widow 05-01-2014 11:07 PM

Yeah I looked them up looks more like a Warlock. Thank you. Are they good boats can't find much info on them?

FIXX 05-02-2014 12:38 AM

do you have a serial number? that might help..

Wobble 05-02-2014 08:40 AM

The hull identification number at top right side of transom will indicate manufacturer. (first 3 letters) Lot of boats similar to that design

90widow 05-03-2014 11:57 AM

CXN are the first 3 letters in the vin. Where can I look up the information for this?

JETTDOGG 05-03-2014 12:36 PM

NOT THE SAME HULL OBIOUSLY,BUT SIMILAR HULL DESIGN -21' L.O.A. CALLED A REDLINE BUT WAS A SPLASH OF SOMETHING ELSE THAT I COULD NEVER FIND. ANYONE KNOW?
LAST I KNEW THE BOAT WAS IN NEW JERSEY - ANYBODY SEEN IT?

....BUT A PROJECT I DID ...BARE STOCK 200 YAMAHA .....GOT 82 GPS IN 8-12 CHOP AND RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF CONTROL.
HAD A PAD ON THE KEEL AND NO TABS
I LOVED THAT BOAT, I'VE HAD BIGGER.... BUT THIS ONE YOU COULD GET INTO AT ANY LANDING -YOU GUYS FROM MAINE KNOW WHAT I MEAN:angry-smiley-044: WITH A 1/2 TON TRUCK .....AND IT WAS A BLAST.

Thanks Jettdogg. Was thinking of using a 225 mercury optimax nitro a buddy's giving me a great deal on it. So you recommend the hull designed? Just thought the side walls where to low for a firm dry ride? Spoke to the guy again said the title says its a Crusader Boats Inc. I can't find any info about the manufacturer. Any one here ever heard of them? I can only find info on a 36 ft trap fishing type boat.

MaroonKnighty 05-03-2014 02:41 PM

THAT SPEED WAS WITH 2- 240LB GUYS, LIGHT GAS LOAD - 8in CHOP ON AN OTHERWISE CALM SAN DIEGO BAY.
I'VE RUN IT STRIGHT ON IN 3-4 FT SEAS - ITS ROUGH, IN A SIT DOWN BOAT BUT FIND THE RHYTHM AND ABOUT 40-45MPH AND YOU'LL GET SOME SPRAY OF COURSE AND ARE LAUNCHING ALOT. BUT ON SMOOTH OCEAN SWELLS YOU CAN RUN THAT SPEED WITH THE OCCASIONAL LAUNCH AND RELATIVELY SMOOTH RE-ENTRY. JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE IT FUN. ON A NICE DAY LIKE THAT I RAN FROM SAN DIEGO TO LONG BEACH AND BACK AND WOULD TAKE HER OUT OF SIGHT OF LAND IN MAINE, SAME OFF CAPE CANAVERAL ,FL. AND CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - YEAH THAT BOAT FOLLOWED ME AROUND THE COUNTRY BACK IN THE DAY.
IN MY OPINION AND EXPERIENCE- IF YOUR NOT OUT TRYING TO STAY WITH THE DEEP V'S BUSTIN' OCEAN WAVES LIKE 24' P/D,PANTERA,ETC.. IT WOULD BE A GREAT BAY, NICE DAY ON THE OCEAN BOAT- USED SENSIBLY.
BELIEVE ME 80 IN THAT BOAT WILL FEEL FAST UNLESS YOUR USED TO DRAG BOATS......LOL
AND THE BEST PART IS 50 GAL. OF GAS WILL LAST YOU ALL DAY.
HERES A PIC IN THE WATER ON SKI ISLAND OFF MERRITT ISL. FL.
FLOATING FREE OF THE BEACH SHE RIDES A 6IN ABOVE THE BOTTOM BLACK LINE ON THE OTHER PIC.

Sounds great for just what I had in mind. I'm down in the south Florida area. Was thinking just for bay use and really nice flat days in the ocean. Thanks for the info. Defiantly gives more of an idea what I'm working with and 80 is well more than needed lol. I'll be happy with 65-70.

spirtofamericaracing 05-04-2014 08:41 AM

I looked at that boat 2 years ago over near naples FL, it's similar to a superboat, but the whole thing is rotten, or at least it was 2 years ago. trailer that it was sitting on wouldn't make it 1 mile.

raytart 05-04-2014 10:09 AM

Have someone run the fl registration number. that should give the basic hull details

Yeah interior has been completely stripped. Trailer if you can call it that is unrepairable. What was he asking for it then?

21eagle 05-04-2014 07:11 PM

That's a Warlock
