I have yet to run it out. Currently Im running 32p stock 15 5/8 dia Maximus props. Having some trouble w my oil temps so mostly I keep the rpms under 4000 and Im at 14-15% slip. One time I did a quick pull upto 5000 rpms and was at 83. As soon as I hit 5000 I pulled back as I had my family in the boat. Changing thermostats this week and hope to get out this weekend.

Nothing more for ya guys. Sorry to say this is my last weekend out and lots of rain in the forecast. I am too busy this fall and no way the boat will get used so I plan to winterize soon. I will say that I am very happy over all in that I have had no drive issues. Secondly I have the 1400 lower that has the extended skeg that goes almost to the tip of the nose cone. Imco explained to me that they did this design to help settle the stern as too many people complained of too much stern lift likely due to the bigger cone area. Even w 5 blades I have not felt my stern getting too much lift.

If the centerline of the bullet is even with the bottom of the hull, it's just going to push the drive upwards.
They should have given it a flat head in profile so that it's lift neutral at any X. Sort of like this. Forgive the paint drawing, I can't shade well on there. I am trying to under stand the physics of what your describing. wont it have equal up and downward forces? or are you saying that there will be less water running overtop of the bullet than under due to drive height? Mine is 2.5 in below the bottom of the boat and on boxes
