I get what you are saying, my boat was put on a major diet in the ass soon after I purchased it. The attitude off plane is way different for sure, on plane I don't notice it from the previous setup but mine is a much heavier boat overall. This is a guess but I think with aftermarket alum. exhaust, alum. heads, and intakes the boat sits a full inch or more higher at rest. Doesn't feel like i'm dragging around an anchor anymore!.. wait, yeah I am .. I have TRS lol. Play around with moving weight around in the boat like cooler placement, anchor storage, etc. Load the boat so it performs to your liking and is safe.
