Unfortunately this happened so fast I had no time to set up my Directional Mic or tripod.
The Directional Mic would have cut down a lot of the wind noise.
At 7AM I was set up with 3 cameras to record the races. Once it was called off I broke everything down. If they only came out sooner. :)

So cool! That was my dream as a kid, they're very lucky youngsters!

I lost touch with Larry that built them. Last I heard he moved to Florida to do the fiberglass work for Disney. I am sure he would still have the molds somewhere..
