Any dealers Volvo Penta engine scan in Massachusetts

Any one know of any dealer in Massachusetts that have a engine scanner for Volvo Penta 7.4l gsi. Seems there are dealers but no. That I can find that have scanning tools for Volvo Penta. Bought a glastron Carlson CSX-23 last year and I'm have acceleration issues. Sick of having dealers fire up there parts cannon and throw parts at it need some one who can scan the engine parameters and see what the issues are.

Because I don't know you, and this is your first post:

I will send you my laptop and correct cable to scan via mefi or trip nick or can....

Put 1k in escrow with a 30 day expiration. If I get it back, you used it for free. If not, looks like you got a bangin deal on a laptop and rinda software.......and the weight of oso on your back.

Offer is there.....pm to move forward

A very generous offer indeed.
If your still opting to go the dealer route- reach out to the folks a New England Power Products in Wakefield. They are the Power Center/Distributor for VP in the New England. They can give you contact info for a good dealer with Diacom in your area.

What has been done so far? When you mentioned no dealers have scan capability, I find that absolutely unacceptable. I'm not a dealer, only servicer, and I can look at anything out there....even dts.

I digress.....

What parts have been shot out of the cannon so far?

Do you know what you fuel psi is running and under load?

Has the regulator on the fuel rail been inspected?

Are either of your props damaged?

you bring it to me and I'll scan it for you.have you checked the basics, compression, fuel pressure,,spark plug wire off or crossed?old fuel being mixed w/ new?

I would check the fuel pressure through out the rpms. Also do a fuel sample and change the fuel water sep filter along with cutting it open to see what crap is inside is inside the filter element. If all that checks out then proceed compression and leak down test along with examine your spark plugs..
