My then girl friend's son was in his last year of law school. He came home to her house on Lake Washington while on break. He tossed a ball for their dog to fetch off their dock. We later surmised the dog was electrocuted first and her son next while trying to rescue the dog. Both were found dead washed onto shore. His watch had been removed and was on the dock. The boat lift that got them was a home made project using an 'inside' motor for an outside job using a 35 amp breaker and no GFI. This was tragic.

When you had the generator running on our Bluewater Yacht, and hooked up shore power then switched the power to shore but had not shut the generator off it would shock you in the water behind the boat. I have tried it with two other Bluewater's and both did the same thing.
