Any information on Phantom Boats?

Does anyone on here have a source for info about Phantom Boats? I'm looking at a 29' center console, when trying to find some specs about the boat I found info stating that the weight was approx. 6,800 lbs. that seems incredibly heavy for a 29' center console! By the way the boat is a 1994. Similar searches brought up Scarab Sports @ 3,000 lbs and CC Scorpions @ 3,700 lbs. Sounds solid but seems that it would be hard to get any speed out of it?

Your best bet is to call Will Smith at Phantom. He can give you any info. you need. Is the boat you are looking at the light brown one on the aluminum trailer out of N.C. with twin 200 johnsons?

I have owned two Phantoms and have been very impressed with them. Will is a good guy. Call him, and I'm sure you will enjoy talking with him.

The boat appears to be gray, but could be a light brown, and yes it has twin 200 Johnsons. It's on Craigs List I've called the number several times, but haven't gotten a reply yet.

If this is the one in south florida...I was curious to see if it was a real phantom....I would ask for the hin and go from there.
