Drive is too deep. Get a shorty and stern lifting prop and I don't see any reason you can't get 10!! Haha

No way that thing makes 3.5hp. lets see some dyno sheets to prove it! Also you need bigger ballast tanks

If you lighten up your load by removing the oars you should see 8.2 or 8.3 MPH
