Two boats collide on Illinois River in Morris
Published: Saturday, May 24, 2014 10:04 p.m. CDT MORRIS - Two boats collided about 1 mile west of Stratton Park Saturday according to Morris Fire Protection & Ambulance District Chief Tracey Steffes. Morris Fire Protection & Ambulance District and Minooka Fire Protection District responded to the accident along with Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Two people were transported to Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers by ambulance. No update to their condition was available Saturday night. Steffes said IDNR will be investigating the accident which involved one pontoon boat along with another water craft. Hope everyone is ok!! |

Very sad way to start boating season... hope everyone will be ok.
On a side note ignorance is bliss.... a comment from the post... "Your not suppose to drink and drive this includes boats as well motorcycles anythink with wheels".... how many wheels do you guys have on your boats?.....LMFAO |
