help with engine value

what would you pay for a a pair of counter rotating 2010 mercury 250 Pro Xs that have been sunk and submerged for a day (salt)?
I still think all the racing parts reeds etc have some good value to a rebuild on new block??
Seems like could be a good deal if you know what your doing?
got bravo 24's on them too

I think the real quetion here is how long have they been sitting since the day they were submerged.

I would say the question is what did they do with them when they were recovered

if they sunk a year ago and they did not get them running right away and pickle them then they are worth scrap aluminum price. if they were pickled well or had them clean and running then they are worth what the hard parts are worth. any wiring and electronics are scrap after being in salt. if the engines were running when the got submerged then they are worth less as some parts dont take the sudden quench of cold salt water well.

Sunk in salt. One year. Yuk.

Props are worth something.
