I would love to stay mechanical.....But a replacement pump would need the same physical dimensions and the same high fuel flow rate (130GPH/9PSI) as the Mr. Gasket 7732....

Already has regulator with the old 7732 pump..I assume I can just leave the setting where they are.....bu twe will check anyway.

BTW, the reason I mentioned the Black pump is because you lose significant gph on electric pumps when you pump through a regulator, that is why I like the return style regulator. The electric pump can run at rated output when the demand is there and when it's not it bypasses back to the tank.
Basically the same setup a lot of fuel injection systems have adopted. This is not such an issue with mechanical pumps though still somewhat true. |
