That's not mine, it belongs to BodyShot and VinMan. They just needed my help to post the photo. I hate that 60KB limit.
|
Marty and Vinny,
Gonna poker run it this year at all? |
Shane,
we probably won't make anything this year...have to assemble the motors & we need drives...we'd like to take our time & put it together "right"...so we'll be ready to chase Smitty next year! ;) :D are you coming down for Dave's Roar at the Shore at the end of the month?? |
Looks like a 32' Velocity to me? Good luck next year!
MD |
that is indeed the boat ithough it was!!! bad ass. i was considering it last year but didn't have enough loot
That will be badass ride. Are you keeping the SSM2 drives on it? or are you going to run TRS or convert to ssm3 or 6s???? |
Puder,
We need drives..trying to decide which way to go...gonna come down to what's available & $$$... thanks!..guess you'll have to come to Jersey next year to see us run! :D |
Marty & Vinny,
Best of luck with the boat! You still have two weeks to get it together for the NYC race...??? Are you going to make it? BOB G. |
Marty,
No I can't make the roar at the shore. I would like to spend some time at the lake while it is still summer. Remember up here teh weather cools off alot quicker than down by you guys. The Formula is winterized by Oct 1 - 10 and the Skater shortly thereafter. See you soon and best of luck with the new ride. Shane:cool: |
Shane,
Thanks bro...Vinny & I will be at the NY Race, as spectators, if you're going to be in the area... Bob..gonna have to pass this time around! Thanks all!! :D |

Marty and Vinnie, get that rocket together, can't wait to run with you guys.....Ed
|
So what is the story about that boat? You really can't tell by the picture, but in person that has to be one of the biggest 32' boats I have ever seen. Good luck with the boat next year. It was nice meeting you guys last week. It's good to know you Joisy boys still know how to put on a great party. I had a great time. Thanks for everything Ron is was definitely worth the trip.
Pete:) |
Pete,
backatcha man!...great to meet you as well!! :D Ed, we'll do our best..can't wait to get out there with you guys...:D Hey Ed...can we have the Bikini Model Next Year??!! :p |
Not a 32. It has to be a 41 without the swim platform. What are your plans for motors and drives? I've been running mine for 6 years only once killing a gear set. Good luck with the boat, great to see another 41 running in the area.
|
Mr. V...
..it is indeed a 32'...Thoroughbred...one of a kind, made from the race 41 mold...
We have BB Chevy's for it, staggered setup..probably going with Speedys for the drives..not sure yet.. where in Jersey are you??..never seen a 41 around our area..(Barnegat Bay/Manasquan Inlet) thanks! |
YOU NEED DRIVES?
Originally posted by BODYSHOT1 Shane, we probably won't make anything this year...have to assemble the motors & we need drives...we'd like to take our time & put it together "right"...so we'll be ready to chase Smitty next year! ;) :D are you coming down for Dave's Roar at the Shore at the end of the month?? |
I knew it looked too tall to be a current 32, it looks more like the 35 steve used to build by putting a dam in the 41 mold. Back in the days when the 41 was called the "Bold Ruler" can't remember what they called the 35. That was the boat I was expecting to buy until he told me he could build the 41 for an extra 10K. Well, I'll take the extra 6'. I was going to have my 41 staggared but steve talked me out of it. My only request when I had him build the boat was to give me enough room for trannies and blower pullies in case I decide to put big power in it or when I could afford to. The cabin is totally empty with just a few extra bulkheads over the standard pleasure model. He also built the boat with a race layup.
Good luck with the boat. |
I think he used to call the 35 a "majestic prince" Steve was into race horses back then.
|
Mr. V...
I replied to your email...thanks for the info!
We'll be in touch.. Marty  and you're right.."Majestic Prince" was the 35!! |
Marty, I found a set of TRS drives if you are interested
|
Ed,
We'll be in touch...thanks! Marty |
