DanL, way to go.

Dan,
I for one would like to commend you on the help you gave to Jen. You have the right stuff. To jump to action, not knowing what you were walking into takes a real man. Leaving your home, driving to someone’s apartment “That you never met” and doing whatever
was necessary to insure her safety can only be described as “HEROIC”. I have never met you either, but I would like to shake your hand. You got what it takes.
Philip

I have to say this whole thing reminds me of the new Red Hot Chili Peppers video; "By the Way." The lead singer is kidnapped, and uses his 2-way pager to contact his buddies, and they come flying out of no where, in this souped up old Bronco, and come thru to safe they day!

'At a boys all around!!

puder 08-20-2002 02:50 PM

well i was on a souped up yamaha r6 :D

Not sure what dan was driving....

Tbonepmp 08-20-2002 02:51 PM

liquid asset 08-20-2002 02:54 PM

I'm not sure what happened the thread was edited when I read it, could Puder or Dan e-mail me the details, in any event, regardless of what happened I hope you have a speedy recovery Jen.

Any doubts about Dan and Brendan being stand-up guys should now be removed. You guys did the right thing for someone in serious need...there should be more people in the world like you guys...it would be a better place.

Biggus 08-20-2002 06:14 PM

I had followed the whole saga that night and man, that was some freaky scary stuff!

DanL, you are one hell of a guy to go to great lenghths and help out a friend that you had never met and in a situation like that! Who knows what you could have been walking into.

I hope to meet you, Becca and Brendan someday.

Kurt.

Ted G 08-20-2002 06:27 PM

I also followed along that night and was really apprehensive about what Dan might find when he arrived. I applaud you Dan for doing the right thing for someone in so dire a need. I would like to think that any one of us here would have done the same but you have no need to wonder any more-you have what it takes.

boot 08-20-2002 06:28 PM

mopower 08-20-2002 07:06 PM

mxz800 08-20-2002 09:57 PM

Was there ever any doubt that i'm a stand up guy??? I'm humble as sin too :D
