Fort Meyers ramp (launch)
 

Goto captiva/ Sanibel for weekend getaways but for something different I was thinking about trailering boat down to fort Meyers and staying at resort with dock but unsure if there are any ramps besides salty Sams. I was in the area (sans boat) over weekend and talked to the guys at marina/restaurant and they get $22 to launch and $22 to retrieve. Maybe I am weird but it rubbed me wrong way to spend 50 bucks to just drop it in the water. Any locals know of any other options?

You can launch in the cape. Midpoint or 24th and its $10 to leave rig parked all day

Launch.you will not have any problems launching any size boat.
