I can't remember what those relays are on top of the motor off the top of my head, but we swapped them side/side on Clark's boat back in the day and found one bad. I think it was same symptoms. They are simple automotive relays.

It is the key switch. Simple to prove with a Dvm, or a jumper.

Test the purple lead with dvm, or jump from hot (12v) to purple. If gauges come on.....and chart plotter, point proven.

sounds dumb, but wiggle your safety lanyard .

I agree, the fuse at the starter. My buddy blew that fuse and everything was dead as well. I can't remember the order of the wiring as it seems like he had no power at his breakers. But that is going by memory only.

I believe that the lanyard will keep the fuel pump from kicking on normally, but it's an easy check.

i agree with commandersander.check the ignition key switch.if you have power to it and nothing coming out the switch is probably bad.jump it like he said.

If the breaker has power than the fuse at the starter should be ok unless it has corrosion and can supply voltage but can't handle the current. Check the breaker for power with a multimeter while someone turns the key to crank and see what happens
