Default Whats a used trailer worth?

I am considering the purchase of a new aluminum trailer and was curious as to the value of my old trailer for trade in or to sell out right. I know with out photos the info my not be accurate...I have a 1998 eagle heavy duty steel trailer for a 28 foot performance boat...10500# triple axle trailer with brand new tires/hubs/ bearings with aluminum rims. However its drum brakes and I can't keep the salt water from ruining the brakes so the drum brakes need repair again. But the rest of trailer is in good condition...I will definitely go with the salt water Kodiak disk brakes on next trailer....Any ball park as to what this trailer is worth.....range......thx... russell

NADA guides under the BOATS section can give you trailer values.

I sold my Eagle tandem last year for $1000. It was setup for my 30 and had the heavy duty 8 lug axles and 16.5" tires. Overall was fairly solid but needed paint. Brakes were in decent shape. Sold for the same reason you are, bought an aluminum trailer.

triple axle 10500 gvw? more than that. especially since u have access to a fairly large fresh water market. I would say 2k anyway unless frame rails are rusty.

I ended up finding a used Float On tandem and rebuilt it. Replaced essentially everything except rails and axles. Lucked out as it had 8-lug torsion axles and it has I beams the full length off boat. Probably about an $8000 trailer new and I got about $2500 or so in it after selling my Eagle.
