Yes, this boat is still for sale - however, if I don't sell it by winter I think I'm going to trade it in on a cruiser over the winter. Here are some of the details:

1988 Fountain 10M - w/triple axle Eagle trailer

New paint/graphics and interior (no work in cuddy) in July 2000

New Merc. crate 502 EFI/MPI's's w/all receipts and SN's ~150-175 hrs

Hull just rolled over 300 hrs.

TRS drives (drives and transmissions were rebuilt at time of 502 install)

2 sets of stainless props

Corsa exhaust (real quiet) with muffs and crossover pipes AND muff'd tip exhaust - like I said REAL QUIET!!! Hate those Water Partolmen!!

All the good misc. stuff...K-planes, Halon system, on board battery charger, sea strainers, external hydraulic steering, etc. etc...

Also, when boat is sold or gone I have a 2 year old 12K lb Galvalift which will be available also....probably ask ~5K...

And this boat has no problems I'm aware of - actually this is my 4th boat and the most reliable one of them all so far - I just keep the oil & filters changed (Mobil 1 synth.) about every 40 hours and keep the drives and trans. serviced once a year....

The reason for getting rid of it is the desire by myself (and more importantly, the 'other half') to get something with a gen and A/C - we haven't ruled out something like a Sport Cruiser (at least I haven't) but more passengar capacity is a plus also - to I'll sell it or trade it before next season....

I am very interested and would get rid of the baja for this but it might take a little while.
for what I have in to the baja, I would not be asking that much for it since I would want a quick sale and move to this pretty quick if possible if it does in fact suit my needs.
Also what does this thing weigh with the trailer?
I have an older F350 and about 11 thousand pounds is about max what I would want to pull with it.

It does not have an enclosed head... :( But, with the huge storgae closet to the right of the entry in the cuddy, you could build one very easily.

I have one offer standing, which is somewhat low, but if I don't get any feedback from the Shootout or Labor Day weekend at the lake I might let it go to a guy in STL. or trade, I'd really like to be in a position to make offers on cruisers by end of Sept. or first week or two of Oct. - Just to give you a feel for my time frame.

Oh ya, and not sure of total weight...I think the boat itself is ~8500lbs - BUT, the last owner (from Grand Rapids, MI) brought it to me with a F350 so you should be fine....it even broke a brake line 1/2 way here and he had no trailer brakes (that's since been fixed of course)...

I dont know of anyone....I think the only thing that will hurt is the blue book price. I can ask the shop here that did the consignment for him and see if anyone else is looking.
