HEY KURT I have not done any more speed test as yet. I am in the process of buying some aluminum heads so i can run a little more boost on pump gas. So i am still stuck on 95mph.

95 is still Gittin it for big straight bottom Cig, In the right chop you may pick up 1 or 2. ( For that boat "Chop" is 2'-3' footers )

WOW thats a clean vintage right there. When will you be doing the rerig and what size engines and drives.

I am going to do a complete restro article over the weekend with pics from the beginning to the end. Hope you guys like it because it was a lot of work but I love working on boats. Thanks for the replies guys.

It's a friend of mines boat. He will be doing the rerig I believe he has some 800 or 900's for it and the Drives are number 3's not sure if he is changing that or not. He has to get some fuel tanks made for it also.

We need to get on him to get it done before we are so old we will need handicap access for our walkers to get on and off the boat. LOL

My engines are 580ci dart iron eagle heads fully ported with 871 running 4.5 psi. Dynoed by Tommy at Chief 825hp. We did a pull at 7.5 psi and made 930hp but thats with racing fuel C16. Have not run the boat with that power yet because that fuel is so expensive and have to import it so it gets even more expensive . i think it will run 100mph plus with that power.

Mr Cig i have two saddle fuel tanks if you friend want them I will give them to him. All he has to do is pay for the shipping. let me know.
