At least he's honest about the speed, if not understating it a bit. 1000HP and only 83 MPH?

phragle 01-31-2015 03:26 PM

with 2 500 hp small blocks and bravos that speed should be close.theres more there if you play with it, not a lot but you could pick up a little dialing the drive and prop, i doubt the bottom has been done either. His price is a little optimistic, but it does look clean....

And I'm sure the Navy Seal's went on some awesome missions with it's Alpha outdrives.......

Jupiter Sunsation 02-01-2015 10:38 AM

No way Reggie built that seal boat.......the throttles are on the right side of the wheel!

Too Stroked 02-01-2015 10:45 AM

Fountain did indeed build a number of boats for the military. I'm 100% sure the engines and drives used by the military were stripped out of the hull - along with everything else - before it was sold at auction. The big block / Alpha drive junk was probably installed by the idiot selling it now.

Bawana 02-01-2015 11:59 AM

That boat at 5 G's is not that bad............ As long as the stringers are good........ its better then most projects I have seen done on here, & the boat would be better then most members boats here. From the pics, it was set up for TRS

man i tell ya what i dont think the 25 Checkmate up there or the Navy Seal Fountain are all that bad of a deal, both are among the few "appropriately and realistically" priced boats out there. I dont think either are out of line at all . . . . just say'in :D

My loss your gain, 454 500hp, comes with 2006 Karavan trailer that was barley used, have the boat in a marina, needs impropella work was told that it's $200 dollars by a certified mechanic. custom interior done in "Gamecock" colors, the sounds it makes when started and running sends chills through you. Here's your chance to own a true "Hot Rod" on the the water. Price is firm.

A. it has a barley used trailer

B. you may know something about propellers clearly know NOTHING about an impropella

C. gamecock colors

There went my idea of patenting/selling a special "skeg removal tool", in a fancy box, with claims of 20mph gains....

The 70 MPH is on the trailer behind the tow vehicle.
