Those are made in siant Augustine, I have the quotes on my home computer, something like 25k for the 10,000 lb lift, not installed. Plus pillings but really cool lifts.

Someone near me has one, never saw it up close but that is the lift.......makes the boat a further "work of art"

So 72.5K in, you still don't have a running 20 year old boat!

I'm not a logo guy but to add insult, this Top Gun doesn't even have the logo on the sides at the waterline!

i can have my vinyl guy make me up some logos to put on the side of it for ya if you want. are you seriously interested in the boat cus i can put a nice pair of 750's in it for ya and we can work on the price as long as your not a tire kicker

Oh boy, it's this atrocity again!

What is the story behind that paint and name? I mean, their is "bad paint" and then their is that thing. Such a shame it has to be on a nice old TG, but hey with some paint and little bit of other work that would be a sweet ride.

not gonna lie its ugly paint scheme. BUT the boat is in incredible shape. no rash gouges yadda yadda. beautiful dash, nice clean interior, blower hatch, aluminum trailer. swim platform. all the rigging is still in it. Upstate powerboats can paint it for the new owner. the exhaust and stereo is worth more than the asking price of the boat. Paint the boat and throw bravos on it and you have a top gun. anyone interested feel free to call me. this is a perfect candidate for someone with a rotted out twin engine boat

sea6 05-21-2015 04:43 PM

I saw that boat at Fort Apache in the '90s. That paint has been on there for a long time.

Owner will be an Aussie. Green and gold/yellow are the country's national colors for sport and the kangaroo? Well why not? Also the red colors of an Aussie sunset and the deadly snakes in Australia. Not to mention rats!

Very patriotic of the guy but may be going a little too far when it affects resale!

Beautiful lift but isn't that a twin step hull with only one pair of bunks to support it? The guy has spent some money on a lovely set up but has he missed something important that may effect his hull in the long term?

So this boat totally intrigued me. Being from the west coast as magic is I'm fairly familiar with magic. This boat looks like no magic I've ever seen. As a matter of fact, it more resembles a Hallet (another very well built and respected west coast boat). So I took this to the guys on riverdaves place because they know both brands extremely well and it turns out hallet did in fact build a few boats that looked VERY similar to this thing in the 80's. So, this thing may be some type of rare/funky Hallet. But it's no Magic.

If it wasn't for the graphics, the fade colors aren't that bad.
I love a good fade but i am old school.

Agreed! Orange to red fade with zero graphics except the cig logo in the back to match would be pretty awesome actually.

Its not a 34 Wizard?

rak rua 05-27-2015 08:34 PM

A true 'jet' ski.
I think it's funny he fitted a sound system before thinking about a fuel pump and some electrics. It does look like a fun project albeit crazy but once completed, how will the $$$ stack up compared to owning a conventional boat for the money?

I would love to crank it up and get a crowd reaction to the afterburner.

Is that the one?
Doesn't look quite as crazy as our turbine mate on CL but it does look like a thoroughly professional build and an incredible ride.
