A true 'jet' ski.
I think it's funny he fitted a sound system before thinking about a fuel pump and some electrics. It does look like a fun project albeit crazy but once completed, how will the $$$ stack up compared to owning a conventional boat for the money? I would love to crank it up and get a crowd reaction to the afterburner. RR But yeh, if a company like Red Bull or Monster Enrgy built something like this, it would be running in public in frt of a crowd , stunt driver doing some amazing things to wow them, and of course professional videos of it so we can all watch and WOW. |

All lights work bright, dim, blink and brake. Has heat, delayed wipers and tilt wheel. 1930 ford grill shell, 1940 headlight shells with sealed beam bulbs. You can stand on the running boards. the tailgate opens. Car needs to be finished, does run and drive but you must install power steering pump and adjust suspension front and rear. $12,300 invested. Be cool to stick some old merc white "power towers" on her and let her eat. Here is a few more pics of her. I found when playing on google http://www.onatrailer.com/1960-bear-cat-twin-outboard/ |

I wouldn't run that TRAILER to 80!!
|
Red prop is the key for sure, but the real secret weapon for an 80mph boat is the Home Depot home address stickers announcing to the world you get a beast in there!!!:D
( I also figure 80mph "or so" means 65mph) |

I love those kind of locks, 99.999999% of the time if you attempted to drive away (with the lock on) it would pop like a shoestring once the tire made a full rotation and the lock tightened around the axle. |
$400 35 Cigarette Project boat
http://treasure.craigslist.org/boa/5027116341.html Old school offshore powerboat. 1975 35' Cigarette Project boat. The engines and transmissions are still in the hull as well as the transom plates and steering but the stern drives are missing. This boat has been outside exposed to the elements for a long time so will need front to back refurbishment. The hull appears undamaged and solid. The boat is currently supported on blocks so the buyer will need to have access to a trailer to remove the the boat. Make no mistake, she's rough and in need of a lot of TLC. If you're up to the project, make an offer, come and get it. |

In 3011 it will be worth way over a 100 k, bet it will bring 115... |
Why did CIG move away from the beautiful deck design?
|
Like Jupiter was eluding to, the word refurbishment is an understatement.
|
oh my
|
Was driving to the cabin this weekend and seening this thing sitting on the side of the road for sale. Remember seen it on the local CL.
Would this thing even get on plane with twin 500hp and how long would the Bravo last. The boat is HUGE, not sure what its doing in Minnesota no body of water around here for it. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ws...051253036.html |
