One look at the engine compartment pixs gave me the shakes!

I think Mild Thunder that used to be on here had one. He didn't have many nice things to say about it.

Formula performance boats no more.
Never been on one, but 41 feet, narrow 8'3" beam, and 24 degrees at the transom. They made it from 1991-1996, and then stepped the hull to be their F-419 FAS3TECH from 1997-2001. That's a lot of years of production. What makes the hull run poorly? Was the long, narrow hull not able to carry the bow? The F-353 is a sectioned and blocked F-419, and they sold many of those for years, I think 2017 was the last year. 2019 was the last year for Formula FAS3TECH. The F-353 is the hull chosen by Formula owners who want into the triple digits. I guess twin 700 hp (with boxes), and shorties, is what it takes. I'd be happy with a good ol' Formula 302 and an enthusiastic crew.
