Way cool history Lars!

Thx for education.

Interesting to me also is that when anyone goes “Ocean” racing, they run diesels.

But over here in the states where it could almost be called sprint racing, it’s all gas motors.

Here's the boat in 2008 when it was sold by the Father-In-Law of the manufacturer. An acquaintance of mine in Sweden bought one and stuck twin big diesel in it and changed the cockpit for racing. The boat is famous in Europe. He sold it to replace it with an Outerlimits SV-52 with quad 600 hp Seatek diesel motors. It's a beauty. His Liq. Tech. SL44 went to Irland where it went on to set endurance records.

Here's an article of my Swedish acquaintance SL44 that he sold to the boys in Ireland who founded 'Allblack Racing': https://www.redbull.com/nz-en/allbla...record-attempt

i think that boat needed the extra weight of the diesels to make it run properly. With gas engines I think it was too light.

That would make sense.

Would definitely be a big shift in center of gravity!

Anybody want to guess what will happen if you fire that "completely legal" 50 cal. gun on the deck? And I don't care if it's only "gas powered." You're going to have more folks with more weapons aimed at you than you can shake a stick at real quick.

Twin O/B Sonic 09-13-2022 06:34 PM

But it started as a Bayliner!

What could possibly go wrong?

So its a tank green bayliner with a single screw and a 50 cal mounted to the deck and matching numbers? What numbers PT 143 on both sides?
you will be in position to fire .50 caliber machine gun that’s been converted to gas. Fires fast, loud, 18” barrel flash and completely legal. Also has 2 soft air M16’s mounted in rear. Misc supplies including matching numbers,
