If that is his boat, would that make it worth more...? Or less.........? Looks pretty smart anyway.

Maybe I'm the dumb azz but isn't a AVS a stepped hull?

I reckon the add was written by a car broker and not a boat broker. Some good detailed info but a lack of nautical terminology. Have another read and see if you agree.... (Paragraph 4 is the bad one!)

Hulk Hogan does have IMMORTAL tattooed across his back. You can find pictures of him on the boat via Google.

rak rua 10-08-2015 08:59 AM

Yep. Quite a few pics floating around and a quick little YouTube 'walk through' of the boat in question.

Still not sure if that makes it worth more or not!

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) — State agents arrested a man accused of selling an MLB pitcher’s yacht and keeping the profit.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement Agents say Anthony Acosta is a former personal assistant to Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Bronson Arroyo.
Acosta allegedly sold Arroyo’s $167,000 yacht without his permission.
The arrest comes after Miami-Dade Police launched an investigation in July over a fraudulent sale of the yacht.
Acosta, who was terminated in 2012, allegedly contacted Arroyo to tell him his yacht, stored in Tampa, had sunk.
Investigators said Acosta also reported higher repair costs to Arroyo in an attempt to get more money.
Meantime, police say, he was moving the boat to an Opa-Locka storage facility where it was later sold for $22,000.

It's his. It is always at the marina near by. He takes it out very very rarely. It is very nicely done.

Not sure at that price but it does have all new power with low hours and looks great.

I know people write LOL all the time, but that one really did make me laugh. I have a good friend calls it "chime" walking. He doesn't get his feelings hurt easily, but I had let him say it that way for so long I couldn't bring myself to correct him. One day, after a LOT of drinks we were talking about boats and he said it. I finally corrected him, and explained why it was called chine walking. However, he had so many drinks it appears that he forgot we had the conversation!

With a Stern Power drive on it, I'd want a really good look at the title and HIN before it went beyond phone calls/texts. I'm not saying Superboat never used Stern Power, and I'm not saying a previous owner didn't install it, but whenever I've seen those drives on a Magnum look-a-like, they had a boat from a less-than-reputable Michigan builder in front of them.

EDIT- apparently Cheetah used them on 24x7s back in the 70's.... Cheetah still ain't a Superboat.

Buddy of mine has a Superboat with one on it.

Noted, and good to know. Thanks for the knowledge! Do you / does the owner know if it came that way straight from Superboat, by chance?

1000 islander 10-14-2015 06:40 PM

Boat is all original.
