Advertised with new life jackets. They might come in handy when other boaters start to point and laugh at me and I decide to hurl myself overboard and swim for shore.

There is some truth in the advertising for this one. Somebody's going to feel violated.

CDShack 01-27-2016 02:08 PM

Completely rebuilt a few "decades" ago!

CrownHawg 01-27-2016 02:17 PM

I especially like the "custom" drive lube resevoir. And if those motors have 40 hours on em, they must have been running underwater, in a swamp.....

How do you bust a hole in the reservoir?

Not sure tired 496's would push that turd 75 mph either......

cmattj 01-27-2016 03:49 PM

I didn't know you could put that much story on a Craigslist ad.. I had to take a break half way through the read...

Nate5.0 01-27-2016 03:51 PM

But guys....he recently put $100k into this amazing deal of a boat.

jekyl 01-27-2016 04:09 PM

I believe I read BAM said it's the same as a bravo 1x...they just lowered the hp rating and raised the torque rating.

Speedracer29 01-27-2016 06:34 PM

That boat was part of an highly secretive experimental program to determine how long a completely rebuilt boat could be left exposed to the elements before fading/cracking/peeling of all surfaces occurred. The result? At least a thousand hours less than The Violator was subjected to.

jekyl 01-27-2016 06:37 PM

Thanks yeah I looked it up, heat treated gears before they thickened them later.

phragle 01-27-2016 07:38 PM

Isn't the infamous bravo 1 diesle a bravo 2 in disguise??

33 Apache with a rattle can paint job......and really loud music system but all you need is motors

elling my 1997 Apache 33 project. Freshly painted and complete hull redone. Sides ready for graphics of your liking. All you need its motors and you are in the water. New interior, new console, color GPS, all wiring recently done. Very loud music system. This boat it's a rough water monster. Very fast and steady. Pretty much the whole boat was redone 2 years ago. Aluminum triple axle trailer included. No low ballers, no brokers. I'm not desperate to sell so no ridicules offers. For more info call or text Jaimito show contact info Se habla español.

No ridicules.....so I guess we can't make fun of his ad?

speicher lane 01-27-2016 08:59 PM

JS you have no appreciation for his artistic endeavor on that Apache - Like seriously, do you not know how may runs it took to home Depot for more paint cans just to get it presentable for the pics???

Maybe it's the next big thing in $50-$100K paint jobs - ROFL

Definitely! If you have one (or two) of these bad boys hanging off your transom, you can hang around Truck Stops or Greyhound Bus Stations and nobody will bother you.

1st off, my eyes are all confused looking at the paint, there is a lot going on there. .
2nd- to me something seems wrong with the motor/ prop combo. 750 hp and 28' Bravo's??? My boat might be making 500 currently and I can spin a 28' bravo to 4900. Is my thinking faulty? If this boat is making 750-1000 hp shouldn't the props be in the 30-32' range?

I'm confused that someone got a quote for a $41k for the paint job.............and actually saw it and PAID for anyway!!! Haha!!!

phughes69 03-18-2016 09:29 AM

One mans garbage is another mans pile of $h1t.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/262340723800

Anybody who would pay for this pile of $hit needs to be buried in the dump along with this boat.

LOL. That is actually an OSO member selling this. He put up a thread a month or two ago. CAn't hurt to ask $500, okay, yeh it can, but I'm sure he'll just let it fly to get it out of the driveway of the house he just inherited.

I don't know, it clearly states that it is a 2015. Seems like a clean machine and a great deal. So negative...lol

phughes69 03-18-2016 09:56 AM

If you look at the pictures, all the studs in the trailer hubs are gone????????????? SB, your right, cant hurt to see what sucker will want this boat.

Up here in Detroit, the local radio show (Dave and Chuck the Freak) have a segment called Florida’s Effed Up. This would qualify for it
