I think you need to be reminded that this thread is intended for ugly, roached, god awful, neglected, comical, over-priced junk. Since the Cig is at best only over-priced, it belongs in a different thread. Besides, it's actually desirable! Now go to your room and don't come out until we tell you!

PARASAIL941 02-19-2017 07:29 PM

I know one of you SUPERHEROS out there has to have this one!!!

A black boat with a black hard top with a black interior - and rigging apparently by Stevie Wonder. Oh, and it's in Florida. Must not get hot down there.

Wildman_grafix 02-19-2017 08:35 PM

I'll take it for $1!

PARASAIL941 02-19-2017 08:45 PM

His ad says $25,000 INVESTED !!! At what point did he consider this an INVESTMENT ? His friends must be real D!CKS for not stopping him at some point...

rak rua 02-19-2017 08:48 PM

He probably got scammed into buying from The Penguin, The Joker and The Riddler....

I know boats are expensive, but Im really trying to figure out, even at full retail, how he managed to drop 25k into that

tommymonza 02-19-2017 09:45 PM

Well Gary

If you or any of your Funancial Gurus thought it was a Wise idea to paint up and install some wings on a 1970. Lyman or what're ever the Phuck that thing is and thought it was a sound investment you need a reality check.

phughes69 02-20-2017 10:30 AM

Its $25,000 invested because the shop that did the upholstery work told him they would have to pay $20,000 in licensing fees to use the Batman logo , or that's at least what they told him.:lolhit::lolhit:

There a guy on THT who has done a conversion on a 10m Fountain to a fishing machine. He completed gutted the boat and did the full rebuild himself and put twin Yammies on the back.

It's not everyone's cup of tea but the guys on THT love his boat and so does his family! I enjoyed reading the thread. I'm not into fishing but I appreciate the work he put in to a very professional build.

That thing is sweet.

Gonna buy it.

Mount a winch down in the cabin fed up onto the top of the hardtop through a multiple set of pulleys.

Thinking parasailing down in the Bradenton area during the off season when I'm not hitting big time Blue Tuna off the OuterBanks..

Parasail941 where do you parasail so I don't encroach on your business. I'm thinking I can live off a50/50 split with the site owner.

I know it's God Ugly , but when you are out in the sun all day than coming home in 45 degree temps getting wet a enclosed helm station is a Nice Thing..

I was borderline enclosing my little helm area on my parasail boat and putting A/C in it to get my azz out of the sun.

12 hours a day , day after day will kill you. Doesn't matter what hardtop or Bimini you have. The reflection off the water of the Florida Sun in July will find a way to burn your nuts.

Our COLDEST months are Jan/Feb with average daytime temps around 88 degrees so sunburn is a huge concern. Fortunately, there's no shortage of girls to help rub some after sun cream onto the affected areas. :)

Thanks for posting the THT!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading it last night.
Even though I didnt do the majority of work on my project (thanks Glass Dave) it brought back some not too distant memories of when the going gets tough and you have to power through

How have I not seen that god awful boat. He did his sake down runs on lake Tarpon (about 1.5 miles from me). It might be his dream but damned if his dreams are not ugly as can be.

Being from Minneapolis it is nice to see a properly stored boat. It is relatively cheap to rent inside storage here in a barn somewhere, or shrink wrap it, You don't want to just leave it parked out there.
Seen better days, it is priced pretty cheap though. In the classic picture of the engines I like to see belt on the motors, where did they go? I get disconnected hoses this time of year. I also like to see the out-drives on the back of the boat rather than on the floor inside. Details count!

I would say the "no leaks anywhere" statement means what ever fluid may have existed has leaked out...

Too Stroked 02-26-2017 05:58 PM

"The hull is good except for a few stress cracks in the transom."

Translation: The motor hasn't fallen off quite yet.

I have always dreamed of a 1984 boat for $100k

F-2 Speedy 03-06-2017 08:02 AM

The engines are totally in sync, this why its a 100k......probably has bravo's on it, don't show the drives in the pic's

he forgot to mention

the propulsion is so advanced and works so well we had to hide it in the weeds on a crappy trailer with the tires intentionally sunk into the mud to make it look unused and fool nasa, the feds and oil sheiks from trying to destroy it.

also being so quiet we are working on a noise maker because the manatees swim right out in front of it w/out looking left and right.

Scam! No way anyone would let it go at that price. You might be able to get a cigarette at that price.

phughes69 03-06-2017 10:20 PM

For $100,000 that b1tch better have real dyno sheets for each engine, NOT what Bubba and his 3rd cousin Jethro said "them thar swamp boats r makin 700 HP with one ov dem shiny blowrs, we gots to be makin 1000 HP on race fuel" and it better have leather seats, marble floors and have that hull put on a diet and blueprinted. Or you could buy a Cigarette that is a better ROI

The boat is a steal, but without a lifted Prius dually to tow it, no dice.

Not a Formula, some offshore pop made for the old smuggling days.

Dare to say there is nothing but rusted hulks in the engine bay.

The pics of the conversion and new white interior are Stellar though

Motor is in there right. Has a split hatch with center being flush with the deck.

Apparently the owner's daughter (or maybe son) completed their final project for 8th grade Home Economics by re-upholstering the seats. I'm guessing they didn't get an A on it either.
