I wouldn't touch another Bayliner fight with a 1200 foot pole. Someone put up a post about one on iBoats some 15+ years ago now. I was dumb enough to be the second poster with a smart a$$ (in good fun) post. Then came the folks who though they were the best boats on the planet and even though I was referring to my brothers 1984 24' Bayliner that when you went over a 2 foot wake on a plane the top of the boat felt like it was gonna come off, I was still everyone's target. I was called everything from a hater to ….well if you said it to my face one of us wouldn't be walking out of there. This went on for years, like a decade plus. I am the last guy to knock someone else's boat and yet here I am ...stuck in a moment.

I would love to understand how some come up with these numbers? I have twin 550 to 600hp motors in a V drive 24 foot boat and don't see anywhere near those numbers and their boat has an extra 14 feet.

Left hand rotation prop. Was that common?
Funny how so many people go negative these days. The only thing rare about the CL post is that it is looks like a clean legit boat for sale and not a scam. Everything nice on Dallas CL is a scam and the rest is junk. |

Used to be a car on Middle Bass Island that someone fit an old runabout hull to.
Was quite the unique island car. |

Sometimes I like to search "Cigarette" just to see what comes up ;)
Attachment 576158 It is in Miami though so we expect them to lie. Had a boating buddy at a bar one night yrs ago when a guy walked by w/a Cigarette jacket on. My buddy asks, "you have a Cigarette?" He says, no a Baja. Theyre the same thing. Yes my buddy educated him ;) |
