How much to remove the horrible wrap? Miami, where old Cig’s go to die. Ugh Looks like it’s in front of a pawn shop too where they think all Cigs are $100k+ boats. |
It looks like he paid $2999.00 to much. |
He must have counted the bills on the wrap to come up to that total.

Is that an old Flat Deck Cig or something else? Didnt thnk they had a notch till after 88 when it became the TopGun . . . kinda looks like a "cig" . . . .not a Cig :D |
unfortunately, the wrap maybe covering up a hull that is in keeping with the interior quality... K-Planes do look like they can be salvaged
Who would pic a wrap like that and think it adds value to anything? |

Being Miami that’s very likely true. Based on that, I’ve hated wraps from day one. I looked at and really wanted to buy an old twin V-8 OMC O/B 31’ Sonic in Orlando but everything else made me nervous and....., it was wrapped. I passed.

You're missing the point. Thee wrap is probably all that's holding what's left of the hull together.

That 'thing' is 5 minutes away from me. Well spotted Biff!........... .........I'll wait until he lists it 'free to good home' then arrange to have it picked up. I could grow banana palms in it. RR Here's our local equivalent of Craigslist, it's pretty lame..... https://www.bahtsold.com/view/origin...rom-usa-331832 Driving down a back road yesterday I spotted a Cig stuck in a boat yard so I stopped to have a look and yes, it's the same old boat getting fixed up. I didn't climb onboard or look too closely but the hull has been painted, cockpit and deck stripped and untouched so I assume the cabin is also a mess. No engines or drives. personally, I love the color scheme and while it may not be of the standard you guys see in America but by Thai standards, it's an excellent job, probably the best I've seen. Here's a couple of pics click the old link to see more and some of the new look to make Cig lovers smile. :) RR https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...fc652e44e7.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...b94050d8dc.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...a39b18d535.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...5209df2930.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...18790b7c6f.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...a9049bc2d2.jpg |

Interesting find.
https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/...959024128.html Rare Italian 1984 TIOZZO MOLINARI FALCON BPM 22’ Class one offshore Racer. Sounds amazing! Custom racing engine. Vintage race ready! This was a museum piece for over 20 years. Estimated at $70-80k at Mecum Pebble Beach 2018 and originally sold at Sotherby's in Milan Italy in 2016. Have been told the engine is worth about $15k and the outdrive unit $10k. Open to offers prior to this years wood boat show tour. Rare Oceanic 5000 Aluminum V-6 engine Hemi 5.0 Liter producing 420-450hp 22' hull custom built by Molinari Hand-laid mahogany hull with Fiberglass Hemi heads 3 Weber 2-barrel carburetors Sterndrive equipped with cavitation injection Hydraulic trim Spare lower unit 3 propellers BPM and Molinari are two revered Italian names that will quicken the pulse of anyone who loves speed on water. Born in 1946, Renato Molinari has racing DNA. His father, boat builder Angelo, took up hydroplane racing as the world returned to peace after World War II. After a period as a teenage test driver for Glastron, young Renato took up the mantle and propelled the family name into the spotlight, becoming one of the most successful powerboat racers of all time—with 18 world championships including three F1 titles—as the leading-edge boats built by Cantiere Molinari on the banks of Lake Como dominated many racing categories on both sides of the Atlantic. As for Botta Puricelli Milano, better known as BPM, the company founded in 1932 has forged an enviable reputation in the field of high-performance and racing marine engines, along with surface drives and other ancillaries. Exclusive boatyards such as Riva and Abbate specify BPM for high-performance applications, as do most Class 1 race teams. It was in 1984, as Renato claimed his third Formula 1 World Championship, that Molinari created a 22-foot single-seat custom off-shore racer for Vincenzo Tiozzo. At its heart is a rare aluminum Oceanic 5000 V-6 with hemi heads and three Weber two-barrel carburetors delivering power via a stern drive with cavitation injection, along with hefty hydraulically operated trim tabs. There are three propellers to optimize performance in different sea conditions and a spare lower unit. A twin-axle heavy-duty road trailer with cradle completes the inventory. The Tiozzo BPM Molinari resided for many years in a major Italian private collection where it was stablemates with 60 powerboats and 423 classic cars including a long-nose alloy Ferrari 275GTB/6C. Definitely not a V8 look at the headers...It is a Itailian BPM Oceanic engine. They made custom marine V6, V8 and V12 engines. Surface drives as well. Very rare.

Hi people! I haven't posted in Offshore in years, but I saw this and just had to share. I'm looking at this boat, and it appears to have one four cylinder motor and one six cylinder motor.https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lg...961001712.html

Saw a giant pontoon dressed up as an old time paddle wheeler/tour boat earlier today.
It had twin diesels. One Merc labeled and one Volvo Penta motor. Thought that was something also. |
