Full disclosure, was not impressed with the wrap. Was VERY impressed when I saw a woman driving. However, photo taken as she was backing off the first sandbar you could hit coming out of that channel. So, there's that. (Still impressed)

I take it she was bound and determined she was going to go around that corner. I love watching people leave these Inlets on Spring or full moon tides |

Reggie gets 89 out of the box This guy gets 102 with borrowed props. Man those 13 mph props must really be tweaked! :D When I saw the Reggie pic I thought he was in a bathrobe |

Props on the boat now it will run 96-98mph all day long." Still doubt it but just saying.:ernaehrung004: |

There is a ‘74 27’ Cigarette Starfire on eBay.
e-Bay has fk’d the site all up to where you can’t, at least I can’t, put a link to the ad. You could list item number now I don’t even see that?? Anyhow, interesting piece. Listed as all freshwater/Great Lakes boat. No racing heritage listed but has race bulkheads in cabin. On an aluminum trailer but other than that, not much positive. Might be a cool piece though. Not at the $10k asking price but maybe..... Probably not race due to no wild graphics???? |

Is nobody going to bring up this weird ass turbo setup? I’ve never seen a draw through system. Seen a million blow through setups, but this is a first. Non-intercooled? Bet that doesn’t build heat.

I’m assuming it’s the old banks/merc turbo 475 setup from back in the day. Some members here are still running them and tuning them up.

If you already had a big power old straight bottom boat it would be a nice upgrade. |

Im aware of those economics. But as far as the value a step bottom hull by itself, it’s a good price.

I'd buy it, but I'm sure it's gone already.
On second thought... doesn't have any NAV lighting |
I’m sure that it is the center of attention but not for the reasons he believes.
|
I saw it on the web when he first finished it.
He was very proud of it then too and thought everyone else should be to. Come on it is Harley powered 😂 Cant even imagine. |
Ocala, FL?
Tres Martin lives there, he is a good boat guy maybe we should call him and have him do a performance inspection! :D |
Make sure he load tests that skank plank.:ernaehrung004:
|
I wonder how do you cool the Harley? It is a air cooled motor.
