That outside "Transom reinforcement" look to go all the way to the bottom of the hull.....so in essence he "extended" the running surface another 2-3" and thats why you dont need the k-lanes anymore! :D lol

I’m guessing their was more then alcohol and weed involved, when the upgrades we’re added.

In keeping with the trend of nice boats totally screwed up by their owners (sparing no expense I might add--speakers on the dash are my fav), I present:

Not all that bad of a deal, but I don't think it's a Scarab. 30ft. didn't have port windows nor the tall bow rail. The keel is a little too squared off as well. Maybe a Nova? ( Seat back had Nova stitched in it)

I had one of those Pinto's also ,, the same color, sold it to a friends father who worked for Ford building Pintos and he fixed it up like new, way back in the mid 70s
|
I was a mechanic at a Ford dealer when they made Pintos and remember doing all the recalls to install a plastic shield behind the gas tank so they would be less likely to explode when rear- ended.

Not sure what to think about this. I like the idea of outboard conversion but they went a little too fish-y with this thing. With the huge foredeck/cabin it's got to be a pretty poor choice for any real fishing?

I know the guy........he is a landscaper named Dave. He hacked a nice lifted 1500 crew cab so it could be a flatbed......except he left the factory bed on the truck! Guy wants 45K for the hull, no power. Nobody is going to jump into that disaster for that much without the power included. In other news, if you want to be his neighbor, 5mm would get you there buuttttttttttt you have to drive by his house every time you go home (shared driveway) and he has everything under the sun in the driveway from broken vehicles to RVs......not exactly what a 5mm buyer dreams about https://www.realtor.com/realestatean...8_M63133-38671 |

Any moron who pays 5mm for a house that small deserves everything they get. And looks like the ol’ landscaper is doing just fine.
Real estate is insane, this is further west up the river, no blue water goes that far back: https://www.realtor.com/realestatean...8_M93322-11107 32.5mm is 4X what it is appraised at by the county. It's a 5 min boat ride west of the 5mm house. |

That house for 5mm is on the water, Dave's house is not waterfront but has access to a small dock.

Some waterfront lots here are worth more with the house gone. Clean slate, no mess. Some very cool old homes going in the dumpster. This one is not currently for sale but when it is it will be knocked down. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...6c86a9faa.jpeg The tan colored house in the background belongs to former FL sec of state Katherine Harris. |
