Extremely rare cigarette/scarab sprint. It’s so rare it was never made.

Rare Scarab? Wonder if "Cigarette" on the side contributes to that?
|
Nice looking boat. Too much power for me 🤣
|
Identifies as Cig
|
I saw that and almost posted it.
I have a “Cigarette” search saved on Craigslist just to see what shows up w/a Cigarette sticker on it!

I would be on my way over there to pick that scarab sprint up today if i didn't have the 26.
perfect candidate, just don't have the room. |
Whoa. Never seen one of these before. Guessing not too many of these were sold, I/O powered fishing rig on a go fast bottom?

Interceptor on here used to have one. They made them in 29 and 32, pretty much the Fever bottom. Fountain also made a 38 I/O fishing rig on the same bottom as the 38 cruiser.
Amazing the price people want for some stuff today.

Powerplay had something similar. It was a CC with inboards. I believe it was a 31'
I was on one that had twin 502's. It had to be on their gofast bottom cause i dont think they had any other hull versions.....it was a bigger version of their 25' CC that was based on the gofast as well... |

33. But that was a CC, not a walkaround like the Fountain. The Powerplay 33 was a great looking boat.
Don't tell him I said that! LOL |

yes but I don't get it, when you are in them when they get to the speed the hull works is about the speed you don't feel comfortable in the CC. Kents is a beast but just a weird animal.

ugliest boat I’ve ever seen!
Their smaller, twin OB CCs are pretty boats. This one…., is fugly!

Would this be considered a Gen 5 Merc Racing 525?

Not serpentine belts, not closed cooling, who knows what heads and 95% done electronics? |

Who knows what those are, they are not 525's.

Facebook, cocoa fl. Someone coming down for the race could snatch this up, total rebuild but it looks like an 18 donzi outboard splash.
could be a great little fuel sippin hot rod, sand bar, fun boat. This is a plea for help, talk me out of it, someone come get it. Now that i know it's there for 400 bucks i can't unknow it, or un want it. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...2111112l%22%7D edit in, i messaged the guy, hopefully he will take a look and get back to me but it looks and sounds like two 5 on 4 1/2 rims and tires to roll. Gladly help another member get it out, by the way 2 bucket seats and a couple of stringers it's a class 7 boat no need for a floor, fancy upholstery and paint https://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/...ved-rules.html |
When we lived in Fla, the fast CC’s were first becoming truly fast.
I would never do one of the smaller ones, anyhow. Standing in basically, a stand up casting pod, while doing 80+ and flying (mostly OBs) the boat??? Couple yrs back a guy died in one while flying it through the Keys.

An outboard on steroids.
This is what a 2 stroke will do w/no rules. 500cc/30 cu inches, 200 hp and 65 lbs. Last I heard, their hydro Kilo record was 128! I went this motor for my bar! https://www.ebay.com/itm/Outboard-Ra...-127632-2357-0 |
That is some cool **** there!
