Wonder how those boats perform? Would be a great time with a 250 hung on the transom!
|
Saw this Cigarette this weekend. It would make someone a cool restoration project.

That 24 looks pretty good the way it is......^^^^^
|
The pictures are a little deceiving. It's decent, but It needs some work. I saw the guy idling in and it didn't sound that great. Like a high hour well worn, stock 454 carb engine. The guy said it was real low on oil and came in to get some. Said to make an offer. lol

Ive been looking for a winter project, what did the interior look like ? I do my own engine work so thats no biggy, my concern is if the trailer is road worthy, I sent them a message about it. EDIT: after a closer look the hatch seams are coming a part so that will need to be redone. |
I really couldn't tell as there were a few people in the boat. I never saw the trailer.
Being that it is pretty rare, I think it would be a cool boat with a repower and some TLC. Being a Cig, it would be sweet with an engine with some pop to it. Sounded like he was eager to sell it, so you might be able to get a decent price on it. Asked me several times to make him an offer.. lol |
Interesting listing.
Probably a submersion, based on new interior skins, or theft recovery. I really like the Prowlers but at $10k w/no power, a pc if **** trailer, and no title?? Good luck w/that! https://www.ebay.com/itm/40521196123...mis&media=COPY |

That 24 CIG looks like it could be a cool deal for someone.
go for it speedy. |

A guy where we stored our cruiser was severely burned while tracking down a fuel leak in the bilge of a cruiser.
We lost contact but at that time they were guessing static electricity from his clothing while crawling through the bildge. That cruiser we owned then, failed a pre-sale inspection (before we bought it) due to fuel vapor in bilge, that they could not identify. I found it. One of the three spin on fuel filters had the old seal on it!

Feel bad for the guy but he must have no sense of smell to not be aware of the fumes that caused that much damage . I know it doesn’t take much to cause an explosion but if you smell any gas no open flame.

41 krytponite CC single diesel
Look at this awesome Kryptonite I found on BoatTrader! https://boattrader.app.link/CAYjIo1KiNb?mt=8 Is this like the Apache CC? |
Nice find! Yes, she's the only one Kirk built. It came out of the same mold that Stephen Yadvish used when he
built the Apache 41 tribute boat he called the Legend 41. That was built in 1998/1999 and eventually found its way to LOTO and has become a liked 'legend' there under the name 'White Lightning'. Kirk built his Kryptonite boats to a high standard. His single engine 27'/29' are speed demons. This 41' CC will be a great boat for someone who likes fishing or a great family dayboat with $50k of custom interior add-ons. Yadvish only built one 41' out of the mold and the same for Kirk with this CC. Here's 'White Lightning'. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...055324552b.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...dca08ab979.jpg https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...703fffa097.jpg |

Very nice old Excalibur but I’ll be damned if I can copy the link……

The Excalibur sold for less than $20k a while ago and that's why the link to the old ad isn't possible to use. Amazing cosmetic condition and
maybe even mechanically. |

Something I have noticed with a lot of the newer go fast boats is the lack of side support in the seats, seems like when things start to get rough that would make it hard to stay in place. Seen it on a lot, both V's and the new Cats.
|
Though I find that Phantom CC cool, I'd rather have bought the totally restored 1986 Magnum 27 CC with twin 300R's they sold a few months ago.
for about half the price. It doesn't hurt to have some freeboard if one wants to call the boat an offshore boat. This Phantom is more of a crazy fast intercoastal canoe. Magnum in action: |
100% agreed.
When flats boats starting getting stupid fast yrs ago, and the driver only has a butt bolster to lean against……, no freagn way for me!
