Would this thing even get on plane with twin 500hp and how long would the Bravo last. The boat is HUGE, not sure what its doing in Minnesota no body of water around here for it. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ws...051253036.html |

That's got to be a misprint?. One too many zeros (maybe two). Good luck if he gets a buyer!
A few years ago at the Lauderdale boat show there was a vendor selling over restored Boston Whalers but even then they were expensive (but 15k cheaper than this guy). They pulled the deck, redid the foam etc. The problem is that you can easily find mint 15 year old 17 Whalers for 10-14k and they are essentially the same boat (17 hull changed in 2003, first time major redesign). So even adding a new 4 stroke/trailer you still would be 1/2 of this guys price and have a lot newer boat! |

They're becoming classics like old Cigs and Donzis or maybe even Riva's....! RR |

I admit to not knowing the U.S. boat market like you guys do but that has really blown me away.

This guy is going for the gold medal........38 Top Gun (really looks like a 38 flat deck) and a F350 combo package at 175K......no mention of the actual year of the boat or truck and two pics of the boat. |
