I can't tell if that's a classified ad, or a deductive reasoning question from a standardized test....

Cletus has three boats
The biggest boat on the left runs kinda good and costs $700
The boat farthest left is not biggest, does not run, and costs $300
The boat in the middle runs and is not for sale
How many boats are for sale, and what is the total price?
Choose the most appropriate answer:

A. End boats are for sale and Cletus is a jackwagon that doesn't know left from right.

B. It's an optical illusion, $850 for the pair.

C. Yellow. My head hurts. Do you want fries with that?

D. None of the above

Craney 12-26-2014 04:54 PM

Agreed for a bar or seafood resto it's great. Have seen pictures of old woodies cut in half or transoms used as bars. Some looked amazing. Cheaper than buying materials and building it.

1968 chevelle concours rare rare rare - $10000 (New Hartford )

Cracks a helluva drug, lol !

A few things:

1. Is Concours the model of the Chevelle or does he just not know what Concours usually means?
2. He might be able to get some good money for that Toyota FJ in the background......people pay stupid money for that stuff!
3. When I see projects like this I always wonder if on day 1 they realized how this was going to end? Had a buddy (non-mechanic type) dismantle a RUNNING, single color 68 Mustang in his garage to "restore it." 8 years later it was a basket case, parts all over the garage, primer everywhere.......that car has been apart now about 15 years and destroyed the usability of the garage for 15 years! Worst part is garage faced west (afternoon sun was brutal) so it wasn't ever going to be an "after work" project because it was too hot out there!

phragle 12-29-2014 11:14 AM

The rarity he speaks of is that the optioned V8 with a 3rd row seat was only manufactured in a quantity of 505 that year. Otherwise optioned that particular wagon was sold in significant quantities,

Seats 6 people and changed to bed sleeps 2 persons. Head & shower. Hidden fridge that will freeze ice cream, air conditioning, underwater window, round panoramic windows all the way around (!awesome!). Really an incredibly fun boat to own. I bought this boat as a cool hangout for my boys which it served is purpose well. Asking $60,000. Original cost was $120,000. Aquasphere's were built South Korea so few ever made their way to the US. The only other one in the US I've heard of is apparently owned by Kurt Russell & Goldie Hawn. This is an exceptionally built boat!

Does not include surrounding deck or motor. 15hp Mercury can be included with controls for an additional $10000.

15 HP motor with controls for 10K? No trailer included either?

Interesting that Kurt Russell (former offshore racer) saw that this was so great to have that he bought the other one!
