Do low water Bravo pick ups cost you speed?

Over regular pickups?

i've been told that they do cost you some speed...about 1mph or less.

Ask the F1 or F2 guys.....that's where i got my info from ;)

P.S. i was also told that different gear lubes will vary mph...but that was by .4 mph.

I should have been more specific. Below 75-80 mph do they cost speed? My 29 Outlaw runs the same 72-74 mph as others with the same power. I have low water. Are there any advantages to low water pu's? I know it's easier to injest things.
