Not true. It has to be something else. I guess, since they really don't have any data on the Avanti, they just killed the coverage. Progressive will insure up to 1000 HP at the prop. (not engine rated HP) it's one of their loopholes to insure some of these boats. Many twin 525's are insured.

That's the same ****ing thing State Farm did to me - dropped me July 3. I'm with Stacy now for about the same price and couldn't be happier. Building a performance relationship with a performance provider can only be a good thing when I eventually upgrade

I currently have progressive my opinion is they are not a good company I will be looking for insurance on the 35 soon. As my example their estimate on the damage claim $1500 actual cost was just over double 2 weeks arguing and they finally relented.... not a company I want to do business with long term. Way to many examples out there of how bad they really are and the link in the thread just kicked me in the ass to get moving to another company.

I hate Progressive Ins and their political views (Far Left Liberals), I would recommend calling Boat U.S. Ins, I have heard many good things about them and very few bad. I have mine with Seaworthy now but I'm not sure if they will accept your boat.
